Would you like to start or rekindle your love to draw but don’t know where to start or maybe you are intimidated or overwhelmed? Drawing can be daunting if you think that it is only for the Picassos or the Michelangelos of the world. But what we want to show you is that drawing can be enjoyed by everyone. Remember how you loved to draw and play with your crayons when you were younger? Let’s bring all that fun back!

In this class, the basic elements of drawing will be covered from line, tone and texture, which will give the student the tools and confidence in using lines to create dimension and depth in their work and also to develop a deeper understanding of any subject the student would want to put on paper.

In this course, the student will learn how to draw with lectures, hands-on activities and demonstrations on proper techniques on how to make representations through exercises in negative space, tonal value, grid drawing and drawing lines and shapes.
